Nigel Huddleston MP has urged everyone to help Abbey Park, Evesham’s Jewel in the Crown, win the award for Best Park of the Year 2019.
Run by Fields in Trust UK, the charity supports over 2,800 green spaces across Britain and is looking for people to participate in their Summer of Parks campaign by voting for their favourite park.
Residents are able to vote for Abbey Park until Monday 19 August at www.fieldsintrust.org/best-park.
Nigel said: “I am delighted that Abbey Park has deservedly been nominated for a Best Park Award. It is a wonderful green space, an area that is enjoyed by people of all ages and a truly picture-perfect setting.
I would encourage everyone to give Abbey Park their support to ensure this beautiful location receives the recognition it deserves.”
